A few words about ZERMATT.CZ

Hi! My name is Andrew and I am really happy you have reached my website dedicated to Zermatt and the surrounding nature. After a few trips to Zermatt I had gathered a lot of photographic material and I wanted to provide some insight for people who haven't had the opportunity to see this beautiful place. I love photography, nature, mountains, winter and also web design, therefore my intention was to connect all these things together in this project. At the beginning I thought that it would not take more than 5 weeks to finish all the work. Now I have to say I was wrong. It took me almost 16 weeks all together as I lost my focus due to other activities. The most time-consuming part was the story. I didn't want to make a simple gallery but a photo story. I intended to write a detailed legend to every photo including the altitude and name of the surrounding mountains. I hope that my idea does have sense and you will find interesting information as well as some eye-pleasing photographs. In any case this website doesn't have any commercial purpose and the creation was not sponsored.

Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or ideas that could improve this site. If you fell in love with one of the 100 photos posted on this page I can send it to anyone in a desired resolution for private use... :-) Just let me know on the e-mail address bellow.
